Director of the Evaluation and Treatment Center
Behavioral Health Resources (BHR) is seeking qualified candidates to provide administrative and clinical direction for acute and crisis mental health services delivered in our Evaluation and Treatment Center. This Center includes a 15-bed Inpatient Unit (including involuntary patients), a 10-bed Crisis Stabilization and Transition Unit, and Mobile Crisis Outreach Services (including DMHPs) located in Olympia, WA.
BHR, a private non-profit corporation, provides adult and child community mental health and addiction recovery services in three Southwest Washington Counties. BHR is the largest and oldest provider of these services in these counties.
This position is a member of the Executive Team and reports to the CEO.
Min Qual:

Master's level mental health professional, a Registered Nurse or other comparable professional with a minimum of five years of management and supervisory experience and at least four years of direct experience in serving members of the acute and chronically mentally ill population in an inpatient setting.

Licensed Mental Health Professional or Other Related License

Experience operating either an inpatient E & T or a hospital inpatient psychiatric facility.

Understanding of managed care structures involving criteria for authorization of services and reimbursement.

Demonstrates excellent relationships with peers, medical staff and staff.

Demonstrates excellent leadership and planning skills.

Demonstrates excellent communication skills.

Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing budget processes.

Ability to work with minimal supervision
