Interfaith Community Health Center is a non-profit, federally qualified health center employing over 125 caring and compassionate employees. Assuring access to high quality, affordable health care for all is our mission. We provide primary medical, dental, integrated behavioral health, & pharmacy services in an outpatient setting at three locations in Whatcom County in the northwest corner of Washington State. We also provide additional care in conjunction with community specialists in a fully integrated, multi-specialty care delivery model.
We are searching for an experienced Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to support primary care providers and other behavioral health professionals with their patients’ behavioral health issues, as well as perform assessments, treatment, and medication management. The ideal candidate will have experience working with chronically mentally ill patients, many with co-morbidities and substance abuse issues. Candidates with similar experience are welcome to apply.
Our main office is ideally situated in beautiful Bellingham, WA, a popular university & retirement community. Nestled on Bellingham Bay at the foot of the Cascade Mountains, we are just a short drive to Seattle, Vancouver BC, and the San Juan Islands.
