Utilization Specialist 2
This position authorizes psychiatric inpatient and outpatient care, which includes participation in 24-7 on-call rotation for inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations for a seven county regional support network. Performs on-site clinical record reviews at contracted provider agencies for quality and appropriateness of care provided to public mental health clients. Minimum qualifications are a Master’s degree in a behavior science and three years public mental health experience which includes a combination of direct client services, providing clinical supervision and conducting medical record reviews. LMHC or LICSW or on-track to obtain licensure within 3-to-6 months from hire date. Working knowledge of Washington mental health RCW’s and WAC’s required. Competitive Salary DOQ.
