Child Mental Health Specialist
Provide direct service to mentally ill clients primarily under the age of 18 and their families. Conduct screenings and intake evaluations; establish diagnosis; develop treatment plans. Minimum requirements: Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work strongly preferred.  Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage/Family Therapist preferred.  Starting salary DOE. Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)
Primary responsibility is to provide Medication Management Services to consumers of all ages, though with emphasis on youth ages 3 - 20.  This includes completing face-to-face assessments culminating in the prescription of psychotropic medications appropriate to consumer needs.  Additionally, monitor consumers taking antipsychotic medications, conduct screenings and intake evaluations; establish mental health diagnosis; and develop treatment plans.  Minimum requirements:  Must have WA State Dept. of Health licensure as an “Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner” and "Registered Nurse."  Must have prescriptive authority in WA State.  Two years experience working with seriously emotionally disturbed children and youth strongly preferred. National Certification in Family Psychiatry and Mental Health Nurse strongly preferred.  Starting salary DOE.  Position located in Colville, WA.
